This training presents the fundamental principles and processes expected by AFD in terms of procurement when implementing AFD-funded projects. The training program is based on the Procurement Guidelines for AFD-financed contracts in foreign countries and on AFD's standard bidding documents.

In detail, this program covers all the procurement steps: from the preparation of the procurement plan, the request for expression of interest or pre-qualification (if applicable), the preparation of the request for proposals or of the bidding documents, to the evaluation and award of the contract.
